Another Layout

Good Evening! Can you believe that I managed to get another layout completed while waiting on my pictures to upload. I had this paper for a while and was so happy to be able to use it. It's the CARS paper pack from Creative Memories. And lastly, I actually just pulled out some sticker letters that have been waiting for a home. Enjoy and BIG Hugs to you all!

Merry Christmas!

Hello my Bloggie Friends! I know I haven't been around for a while but like so many of you with work and holidays it's hard to get on the computer. You should see all my emails that I need to get through. However, I did want to share with you the projects I actually got done. The first thing I want to share is the Christmas cards I made and sent out to family and friends.

Recipe
Card Size 5 1/2 x 4
Cartridge Use, Christmas Cheer

Blue cardstock, Admiral, Bazzill

This is a card a friend of mine made for her little boy for Christmas letting him know that he is going to DisneyWorld for Christmas. She is new to scrapbooking and cardmaking, but I think she did an awesome job.

This is a calendar I made for my Secret Santa pal. She loves Hello Kitty and saw this on a blog and thought it was make a wonderful gift. She loved it. Now I want to make one for me for our Cricut swarm in January.

And finally, but not least is the card I made to go with my Secret Santa pals gift. The image was actually drawn for me by her a couple of months ago. I named this cute image Kiki, since that is the persons name who created her. I wanted to show Kiki how I could use the image she drew for me. I just Christmased her up by adding the hat and ginerbread man.

Well I hope you enjoyed my projects and want to wish everyone a wonderful New Year.

Big Hugs to you all!

Paper Flower Arrangement

I have a florist friend of mine and thought it would be nice to give her some flowers for Christmas. I made 12 flowers for this arrangement and decided not to use the bright red and greens. Thanks to my husband that he was able to figure out how to use the Bowdabra. I cut the Merry Christmas from my Cricut and attached it to a skewer. I am really pleased with how this came out.

Thanks for stopping by and BIG hugs to you all!

Scrapfest Projects

This past weekend I was able to attend our semi-annual Nassau County Scrapfest. These are always so much fun and the person who puts this together for us is totatlly AWESOME! Thanks Sheanice!

I had made myself a goal to complete at least 10 layouts, well I didn't make it. I got 7 completed. I think I visited just a little to much. So I just wanted to share with you what I got done. Enjoy!

This was the first layout I did and was from a recent trip to Disneys' Animal Kingdom.

At the Scrapfest we had a young lady working on a school project and asked us ladies to make a Christmas card for our military. Of course, everyone wanted to participated. Well I didn't have one piece of paper or sentiment for Christmas with me. But, I did have my Gypsy loaded with some Christmas cartridges. I came up with this and think it looks great.

This is my niece and thought she looks adorable. She loves to pose for the camera and she's only 5 years old. Anyway, even though I like this layout, I'm not in love with it.

Last but not least, more layouts of our Alaska cruise from May. We are still in Juneau.

Big Hugs to you all!

I know these aren't tradional looking Anniversary cards, but they are fun!

Wicked Wall Hanging

My niece just loves the play/book Wicked and anything Wizard of Oz. So for her birthday (which was October 27th), I decided to create a wall hanging of what she enjoys. It took a little time, but I believe it came out pretty good. She did love it.

Happy Fall

I don't know if it is officially Fall yet, but I got this tablecloth on sale for $8.99. I thought it was plastic, imagine my surprise when I took it out of the package and realized it was cloth. My Mom gave me the Fall leaves and I got my Florist friend to make me the bow and vola' my centerpiece for my dining room table. I just wanted to share. Have a great day and BIG hugs to you all.

More Alaska Cruise Layouts

Good Morning everyone. I went to a crop a couple of weeks ago and managed to get a couple more scrapbook pages completed from my Alaska cruise, back from May. Man I am behind. We are still in Juneau but we are at the Salmon Bake and along with the lunch, they also had campfires and marshmallows so here is my family enjoying the toasted marshmallows. I personally don't like them, but it was fun watching them.

Isn't that just the cutest campfire ever??? I used my Peachy Keens stamps to give it this cute personality.

Big Hugs to you all!

Halloween Projects

I have a couple of Halloween projects that I got finished just in the nick of time.

I found these from my friend Michelles' blog Scrappin with my Bug. These were fun to make and everyone who got one really liked them. Oh yeah, the candy wasn't bad either.

I found this idea from Sherrie Scraps with Passion, another blog that I visit. I loved this so much I completely lifted this. This was another fun project, but took a little time to finish. However, the finished product was awesome. My niece and 2 nephews really loved them.

Thought you might like to see what I placed into the treat boxes. There is some sixlets and stick candy and these cute little voodoo doll keychains. I thought these fit the occasion and the boxes perfectly.

I hope everyone has enjoyed my projects as much as I enjoyed making them. Big hugs to you all!

Juneau Alaska Layouts

Here are the Alaska layouts I finished up last night at my crop. I still have so many more pictures to do and this is just the first port of call. Oh well, I am tackling them one layout at a time. Have a wonderful evening and BIG hugs to you all!

The first two layouts I loved the flowers and just some scenery. The one with me and the polar bears were taken up on Mt. Roberts. I have actually had a couple people ask me if I really fed the bears. I had to snicker, because I really don't think I would get that close to polar bears, even if I could.

This is the salmon bake we went to. It was really nice there. It was pretty chilly, but not to bad. They had heaters all over to make it comfortable.

This big fella was at the salmon bake enjoying all the attention he was getting. He was a sweety, a bit smelly, but sweet.

Another Post

Last night I was able to go to our monthly crop and I wanted to share with you some of my layouts. These two are photos that I had in frames and I wanted to get them into my scrapbook. This is my nephew Allen when he was a little fella, he's 11 now.

Halloween Card

I wanted to share with you the Halloween card I got in the mail from my friend Dana. I love the vintage look to it.

Big Hugs to you all!

33 Ways To Stay Creative

Good Evening Everyone! I got this list in an email and decided to decorate it and hang it in my craft room to keep me inspired. I love this list and really happy that it was sent to me.

The papers and embellishments are all from K&Company Brenda Walton, the ribbon is from Life's Journey also by K&Company.

Once I finished the hanging I placed it in a page protector and then added ribbon and it now hangs on the door of my crafting cabinet so I can see and read it on a regular basis.

Big Hugs to you all!
