Anniversary Card

Hello my friends. I cannot believe we are in December and Christmas is almost here. As ususal time seems to fly faster and faster every year. I really haven't been in my craft room, but posting some things I have managed to get done, actually , had to get done.

Todays card is an anniversary card that I made for my in-laws. I really liked how this came out, I just did stamping and embellishing.

Enjoy and BIG hugs to you all.

Butterfly Anniversary Card

Hello my friends. I cannot believe it's been over 2 weeks since my last post. Where does the time go? I know we all ask this. I guess between working, holidays and building our house the time really does slip away. Anyway, I wanted to share this simple anniversary card I made for my Mom and Dad.

Everyone have a wonderful week and I will try to post a little sooner next time. Enjoy and BIG hugs to you all.

Robotz Card

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. It was pretty chilly this morning in North Florida. I got up early this morning to send my husband off. He works for our local utilities company and is now heading to NY to help with the power restoration. I already miss him terribly, but I know he is very much needed.

So for my nephews birthday I made him a card using the Robotz cricut cartridge. I have to tell you, there are lots of pieces, but I did manage to get this thing together, but will rethink about making this so small. However, it did come out really cute and I'm kidding, I will use this again. It was fun putting it together.

My nephew really did like it, so it was worth the effort. Enjoy and BIG hugs to you all.

This is a card that I made for my Mother In-Laws' birthday. I kept this card simple, but love the way it came out. So colorful and just a little bling.

Have a wonderful day and BIG hugs to you all!

Another Birthday Card!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend. I was off part of it. I was able to attend a crop Friday night and Saturday and worked on my Christmas cards. I got a good start and just have to get all my pieces ready for assembly.

Anyway, I wanted to share another birthday card that I made using the Kitty stamp set that I got from Jaded Blossom. This card was made for one of my very best friends. I hope you like it.

I colored the image with my copic markers and used an action wobble to give the kitty movement. Enjoy and BIG hugs to you all!

Boo Birthday Card

Hi everyone! Sure hope your weekend was as beautiful as ours has been here in North Florida. It has finally started cooling down at night, days have been in the low 80s. Perfect! Well it's back to work for me tomorrow and have a pretty full week.

Here is a card I made for my brother in-laws birthday, his favorite Disney character is Boo from Monsters Inc.

I used a action wobble to make her animated, she turned out so cute. And my brother in-law loved it.

Everyone have a wonderful week and BIG HUGS to you all!

Scrapbook Page Layouts

Hello my friends! I hope everyones week is going well. Mine hasn't been bad, but will certainly be very busy next week. Going to enjoy this upcoming weekend and get myself ready.

About a month ago I was cleaning out an old desk and found all these random pictures that were sent to me from family members I have in Europe. Believe me, there were quite a few photos and I just couldn't get rid of them so I've been trying to scrapbook them. Here are a couple layouts I managed to get done in the past couple of weeks.

I have many many more pictures to go through, but at least it's a start.

Enjoy and BIG HUGS to you all.

I wanted to share with you some of the photos that I had taken of the 36 hour event. Little sleep, lots of food!

Hope everyone has a great weekend. Enjoy and BIG HUGS to you all.

Moose Birthday Card

I made this card for my birthday a couple of weeks ago, but could not post it until now. I wanted to give it to her before sharing it. I used the Campin Critter Cricut cartridge.

This past weekend we had our semi-annual Scrapfest and it was so great seeing all my friends and meeting new ones. I will post pictures very soon.

Enjoy and BIG HUGS to you all!

Tag Christmas Card

Hello my friends, I hope your Sunday was awesome and that you are all starting the week with a smile. While looking at a card magazine I saw this tag baby card and wanted to try it, but decided to make it a Christmas card. I made the card base and decided to use embellishments from a Christmas card kit that I bought on clearance a couple of years ago. It was great being able to open that kit up and use some of it.

Everyone please have a wonderful week and BIG HUGS to you all!

One of the first things I wanted to do is share with you a birthday card that I made for a friend of mine. I did not use my Cricut, but instead I stamped and used my Copic markers. I made the card a pocket card to hold her gift card.

A Little Birdie Told Me

Hello my friends! I hope everyone had a happy and safe Labor Day, I know I did. Didn't really do anything, but needed a day like that too. I am still off from work so I am very happy about that, but know Saturday morning will be here way to fast.

I wanted to share another card I made. I made this for my niece who lost her tooth recently. Along with her card I sent her a set of crayons that are housed in a pink castle. She is such a girly, girl that I knew she would love them and I was right. When they are 6 years old, they really love the little things. I was so happy to be able to use this kitty and sentiment stamp. To be honest, I had to hunt around for the sentiment, I knew I had it but had trouble finding it.  Enjoy and BIG HUGS to you all!

Thank You Card

Hello my friends. I know it's been a couple of weeks since my last post. I just can't seem to get to posting like I should. I have been able to get into my craftroom, but still not as much as I would like. I actually have 6 days off from work and am planning on working on some cards and some scrapbooking. I'm still working on my Alaska cruise pictures from last May.

One thing I have managed to get done was a Thank You card for a friend of mine. I actually saw this card in my current Cricut magazine. It's altered a bit, but I was very happy how it turned out.

Have a wonderful day and BIG HUGS to you all!

Disney Notepad and Card

Hello everyone! So happy to be able to post something for you. My job is still keepin me very busy and haven't hardly been able to get into my craft room. However, I was able to make this notepad and matching birthday card for a good friend of mine that I work with. Her birthday was at the end of July, but just now have been able to post it.

This was really easy to make because I used Disney embellishments and paper, which I have A LOT of. It took no time at all to put these together.

Enjoy and BIG HUGS to you all!

Family Layout

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a good day. Sorry I've been missing for a few days. Unfortunately, work has been taking a lot of my time. However, I have managed to get a couple projects squeezed in. This is a layout I did for a contest using the die cut. As I was doing some cleaning out of a desk I found these pictures and Christmas card from my other family in Europe. I knew I needed to preserve them, as my Grandmother is no longer with us.

Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend. BIG HUGS to you all!

I have a good friend of mines' birthday coming up and wanted to make her a card for her special day. I had so much fun using Paper Dolls Everyday for the last card I made, I decided to use it for her too. I think it came out so cute.

Paper Dolls Everyday

Good evening everyone! I hope your week is going well. Mine is just starting and it's going to be long. However, I was off this past weekend, which was awesome! During that time I was able to make a couple of cards. The card I'm posting today is for a co-worker who is leaving us. Her husband is retiring from the Navy and they are relocating.  We are going to miss her terribly.

I had such fun making this card. I used Peachy Keen face stampes for this sad face.
I made my words a little to large so I just carried them to the inside.

I hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it.  BIG hugs to you all!

Another Layout

Hello my friends. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I made this layout last week and wanted to share it with you. This is my nephew's 6th grade graduation. I can't believe he will be in 7th grade next year, it just seems like yesterday that he was a little guy. Anyway, enjoy and BIG HUGS  to you all.

When I went to Orlando a few weeks ago I visited a couple of scrapbook stores and found this awesome paper. I bought it specifically for these pictures. You can't tell from the photo, but the hat and open book are glittered. Very pretty.

I wasn't sure how I was going to do this 2nd page since I only had one piece of the other paper. I decided on a cream color and made the apple border to give it some color and made the diploma for the occassion.

Disney Layouts

Happy Friday to you all! Today is actually the beginning of my work week, but it was a decent first day. I wanted to share with you 2 Disney scrapbook page layouts. One was made by my friend Jessica and the other one by me. Enjoy and BIG HUGS to you all!

This is the layout that Jessica did. I think it's just as
cute as can be.

Jessica gave me these photos of her, JR and my son James
from the photo booth. I wasn't sure how I was going to
make a layout, but once I got started it all came together.
I hope you enjoyed seeing what we made. Have a wonderful night.

Hello Kitty Birthday Card

I hope everyone had a wonderful fourth of July. I know I enjoyed the food and just taking it easy for the day.

I wanted to share with you the birthday card I made for my niece who turned 6 a couple of weeks ago. I used the Hello Kitty font cartridge and used the project that was in the booklet. Enjoy and BIG HUGS to you all!

Masculine Birthday Cards

Hello my friends! I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend and is looking forward to the holiday coming up,I know I am. I've been lucky enough not to have to work this year. I am hoping to finally get back into my craftroom. Anyway, I have made a couple of birthday cards for the men in my life and wanted to share them with you. Enjoy and BIG HUGS to you all!

I made this card for my Dad's birthday. It was pretty cool, because
he knew that was a Hudson Hornet. Not because of the
Disney movie Cars, but he remembers it from back in the day.

This is the birthday card I made for my husband.

This is the card that my sister made for my husband. She had a lot
of fun making this one. She saw something very similiar in one
of the magazines. Since we didn't have the stamp she needed, she
created these monkeys using the Cricut and drew the barrel.

Fundraiser Crop

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending a fundraiser cropy hosted by Yulee Middle School. The fundraiser was for the band. I had a great time, we had awesome food, great prizes and contests and of course wonderful fellowship!. They may be doing this again and I hope I will be able to participate. Anyway, I was able to complete 2 cards, one was for Operation Write Home (I forgot to take a picture of that one) and complete one 2 page layout and a single page layout. So enjoy and let me know what you think. BIG HUGS to you all.

I made this card for my Boss' recent promotion and it was also his birthday, so it
served double duty.

I'm still working on my Alaska cruise pictures from last May. Here are in Sitka
enjoying an ice cream. I think the temperature was around 52.
It was good.

We thought the flowers were so pretty here. Once we got inside we figured out it was
a retirement home.

Page 2 of my layout. Aren't the flowers beautiful! I did the Alaskian Beauty using one of
my Cricut fonts and used the Cricut markers. I really like how this turned out.

Tuesday, June 26, 2012

Hello my friends, I have gone back to work, but was able to attend a crop this past weekend. I'm afraid Debby is really pounding us good. I am so over this rain, just want it to stop. Anyway, I wanted to share with you a layout that I made in memory of my General Manager who passed away unexpectedly in May. I wanted to keep it simple. He was certainly a wonderful man and miss him terribly.

BIG HUGS to you!
