A Couple Of Cards

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and that you are having wonderful weather like we are in North Florida. I've been working a lot lately but have managed to get a couple of cards and some layouts completed. I will post the layouts the next time I post.

This is a Sympathy card I made for a sweet friend of mine.

This is an Anniversary card I made for my son and daughter in-laws first wedding anniversary.

For both cards I kept them simple, which is what I find myself doing more and more. I hope you liked my post and until next time BIG HUGS to you all.

Vacation and Something Exciting

Hello my friends, sorry it's been so long since my last post. Between going on vacation and then going back to work, time has slipped away. What I wanted to share with you are some scrapbooking layouts I created of our vacation. We spent a few days in Gatlinburg, TN and while there it snowed. We are such Floridians and tourist, everytime there were some flurries we were taking pictures and sharing with everybody. We even managed to get some pics using a real camera. I just get so tickled everytime I think of it because we were so excited to be able to see snow, but was so happy to leave it too.

While in Pigeon Forge we went to the Super Scrapbook store, always have to plan to go someplace that has scrapbook stores. During the visit I picked up these papers specifically for these photos.

I just really love the simplicity of these pages. I wanted to highlight the pictures without to much "stuff".

Here we are in downtown Gatlinburg and all that snow. I know you guys further north are laughing at me aren't you.

And these are pictures that my husband and son took in the wee hours of the morning when they realized it had snowed, so they went to find more.

I hope you enjoyed seeing our pictures as much as we enjoyed experiencing this winter wonderland.

Now on to my Something Exciting portion. I wanted to let you know that I am officially a Close To My Heart consultant.
