Fourth of July Card

A couple of weeks ago I saw this card made by Pat Kinkaid on the Operation Write Home Facebook page and knew I needed to recreate it for my 4th of July card. I found the digital image and purchased it so I could get started. The one thing I did wrong was I didn't size my image small enough, so my card is larger than what I normally do. Oh well, lesson learned. I love how this card came out.

Party Glasses

Tomorrow is my nieces' 5th birthday and a couple of weeks ago I made her a crown for the special day. There will be 2 little boys and 2 little girls attending her party and I decided I didn't want to make crowns for them all. So, I decided to make them some funky party glasses using the Life's A Party Cricut cartridge. I blinged up the girls glasses a little bit and kept the boys plain, afterall, boys don't want all that sparkle. I think these came out really cute and were fun to make. Although, I had to play with the sizing. I ended up cutting these at a 4 inch height.

Birthday Card

I finally got finished with my Dad's birthday card which was Tuesday and with Fathers Day tomorrow. I never use one card for both occasions, but since I am going to see him tomorrow he will get 2 cards.

Princess For A Day

I made this crown for my nieces' birthday that is coming up. She will be 5 in just a couple of weeks and she loves anything Princesses'. I actually used my Cricut to cut this out. I had to use my 12x24 mat and had to buy the paper the same size. Luckily, there was a sale of paper pads, so I actually got them for 50% off, I bought 3 pads.  I am going to make some cool glasses for my 2 nephews, but haven't gotten to them yet. I will post them as soon as I get them done. I just embellished the crown with some jewels that I had. The height is about 9 1/2 inches, I had to make it large enough to fit her head. I hope it does fit. Once I give it to her I will make sure to get pictures and post them.
