Going Away Card

A very dear friend of mine and my Boss is transferring to Chicago with our Company. We are sorry to see her leave, but know this is a good move for her. I made her card using Campin Critters and think it came out so cute. I included with her card a bag full of travel snacks for the long drive..

I can't remember which cartridge I used for the road and I used a Jolee embelishment for the Chicago and  used a Peachy Keen face stamp on the car.

I also used an action wobble to animate the card. She really liked the card and I was very pleased how it came out. Don't you love when  a project comes out better than you expected.

Good night and Big HUGS to you.

Another Project With Vinyl

Good evening my blogging friends. Today I did another project using vinyl. I bought this chalk board surface coffee cup and I had written on the cup with chalk but didn't like how it looked. I decided to do it in vinyl and I think it came out great! I used Cherry Limeade font at I think 1 inch.  The phrase is actually 2 phrases and I just googled coffee phrases and found these that I liked. This is placed in my Scrapbook room right by my coffee maker. The next thing I need to get is coffee cups that will stay in that room.

I hope you all have a wonderful day and that you like my project. BIG HUGS to you all!

Home Decor

Good evening my friends. I'm getting better at making a post. It's only been 9 days since my last one, so much better than 2 months.

The other day I bought a oil and vinegar bottle set and since I don't use vinegar that much decided to use both bottles for the 2 types of oil I use. I decided to customize my bottles for my oils. One bottle is for olive oil and the other is for vegetable oil. Since the bottles weren't that big I decided not to use vegetable because it was to long. So I ended up just using oil, after all, I will know which type it is. So here are my new oil bottles that will be sitting next to my stove.

It's kinda hard to see the olive oil because the oil is darker, but I was very satisfied with how this project came.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and BIG HUGS to you all.

Thank You Card

Hello my blogging friends. I know it's been over a month since my last post. My scrapbook room is coming together and actually got to make a couple of thank you cards. There are these 2 gals that have been sending me cards not just for my birthday, but just because. I love to receive cards in the mail Anyway, since I managed to get some time today to create I decided to make them a thank you card in appreciation to always thinking of me.  These ladies are wonderful friends and feel very blessed to have them in my life.

Over the weekend I bought me a chevron stamp and embossing plate. I didn't use the embossing the plate but did use the stamp.  I pretty much made them the same card, just changed the colors slightly.

Anyway, enjoy and have a wonderful week. Until next time BIG HUGS to you all.

Home Decor Project

Hello my blogging friends. It feels so good to get back to my blog. I know it's been quite a while and there has been a lot going on. I am happy to say we are in our new house and have been in it for about 4 weeks. So much to do. Today I actually did a blog hop and it felt so good. There is so much talent out there. I have this little Mickey Mouse chalk board for my kitchen, and I thought it would look cute with a kitchen sentiment. So I found my Cricut, Gypsy and my vinyl and made it. Oh my goodness, I have missed my crafting. Here's how it came out:

Here it is without the sentiment.

With the sentiment. I was lucky because I had 2 cartridges with this phrase already in it so that saved me a lot of time. Tip for the day, when using vinyl use the transfer paper. It was quite a challenge getting this on without sticking all over my hands.

I am also in the process of putting my scrapbook room together and wanted to share a couple pictures of the mess. My sister, who is wonderful at organizing will be coming over to help me put it together. In the meantime, I'm just doing what I can. I will say, though, my work station is pretty much done. At least, I can sit at my happy place and feel I can craft now, if I want to. Before, there was just no way. I still can't find everything, but that's okay. It will all come together.

My work station is in front of the window on the left, right by the tv. I also have a guest work station on the other side of the cabinet. The desk closest is my computer desk. How do you like my pink tool box??? It is going to hold my ink and stamps, I have already put the ink, glitter and embossing powders in it. I want to sort my stamps before storing them in their new home.

It's still a bit of a mess, but one day at a time. I am just so very blessed and happy to be in my new home that I love.

Have a good day and BIG HUGS to you all.

WOW!

Hello my blogging friends, I hope everyone is doing well this evening. I cannot believe it's been almost a month since my last post. My house is coming along and it is just about finished. I have packed up my scrapbook room, but managed to go to a crop last weekend. I have been working out of my crop bags, luckily I keep them well stocked. One of the things I managed to get done was an Altered Notebook for the Play Along page on Facebook. I love how my notebook came out. I think I am going to keep it for myself to plan out my projects.

I was also able to finish my scrapbook for the Alaska cruise my husband and I went on almost 2 years ago. I am so glad to be done with that. I can mark that off of my list of things to do.

I hope you like seeing my project and ENJOY and BIG hugs to you all.

Calendar Challenge

Hello blogging friends. So sorry I haven't been around, but our home is almost completed and we'll be moving in soon. So looking forward to it. I've pretty much packed up my scrapbook room, but did have a calendar that I made following the Play Along site on Facebook. The challenge was to create a calendar page for the current month and run the challenge throughout the year for each month. I decided since I've got so many things going on right now, I  would just make a decorative background and just print out each month and change it as time goes by. I  put velcro tabs on the back of the calendar so I can reuse the background.

Those who know me, know that I love Disney, so I created this to use in my new scrapbook room. Enjoy and BIG hugs to you all.
