Another Layout

Good Evening! Can you believe that I managed to get another layout completed while waiting on my pictures to upload. I had this paper for a while and was so happy to be able to use it. It's the CARS paper pack from Creative Memories. And lastly, I actually just pulled out some sticker letters that have been waiting for a home. Enjoy and BIG Hugs to you all!

I hope everyone is having a great Wednesday, my first day back at work was alright.

I am happy to say that last night while I was uploading my photos I was able to complete a page layout.

I just blinged up the cardstock. I felt it really didn't much more than that.

Merry Christmas!

Hello my Bloggie Friends! I know I haven't been around for a while but like so many of you with work and holidays it's hard to get on the computer. You should see all my emails that I need to get through. However, I did want to share with you the projects I actually got done. The first thing I want to share is the Christmas cards I made and sent out to family and friends.

Recipe
Card Size 5 1/2 x 4
Cartridge Use, Christmas Cheer
White cardstock, 4 1/2 x 2 1/2
Stamp, Craft Essentials, Joanns
Gems, Recollections, Michaels
Lace edge punch, Martha Stewart
Blue cardstock, Admiral, Bazzill
Corner rounder, Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper, We R Memory Keepers
Pop dots, Stampin Up
Ribbon, my stash
Sentiment, inside, Impression Obession Inc.

This is a card a friend of mine made for her little boy for Christmas letting him know that he is going to DisneyWorld for Christmas. She is new to scrapbooking and cardmaking, but I think she did an awesome job.

This is a calendar I made for my Secret Santa pal. She loves Hello Kitty and saw this on a blog and thought it was make a wonderful gift. She loved it. Now I want to make one for me for our Cricut swarm in January.

And finally, but not least is the card I made to go with my Secret Santa pals gift. The image was actually drawn for me by her a couple of months ago. I named this cute image Kiki, since that is the persons name who created her. I wanted to show Kiki how I could use the image she drew for me. I just Christmased her up by adding the hat and ginerbread man.

Well I hope you enjoyed my projects and want to wish everyone a wonderful New Year.

Big Hugs to you all!

Paper Flower Arrangement

I have a florist friend of mine and thought it would be nice to give her some flowers for Christmas. I made 12 flowers for this arrangement and decided not to use the bright red and greens. Thanks to my husband that he was able to figure out how to use the Bowdabra. I cut the Merry Christmas from my Cricut and attached it to a skewer. I am really pleased with how this came out.

Thanks for stopping by and BIG hugs to you all!

Breast Cancer Awareness Card

Back in October I saw this news report about this nurse that was receiving cards of hope for breast cancer patients. I wanted to participate in sending a card but unfortunately could not get mine completed until now. I contacted Nurse Mortl and she indicated to me that she was trying to keep this going all year and welcomed any card(s) I had and encouraged me to let my friends know. So if anyone is interested in making a card, please contact me and I will provide you with the mailing address. So here is the card I made.

Recipe

Cartridge Used, Paisley (used the hide contour to hide the 2nd shoe)

Flower, from my stash
Gem, from my stash
Ribbon, scraps
Believe, Life's Little Occasions, K & Company
Stamp, sentiment inside, Hope Is, Stampin Up

Scrapfest Projects

This past weekend I was able to attend our semi-annual Nassau County Scrapfest. These are always so much fun and the person who puts this together for us is totatlly AWESOME! Thanks Sheanice!

I had made myself a goal to complete at least 10 layouts, well I didn't make it. I got 7 completed. I think I visited just a little to much. So I just wanted to share with you what I got done. Enjoy!

This was the first layout I did and was from a recent trip to Disneys' Animal Kingdom.

At the Scrapfest we had a young lady working on a school project and asked us ladies to make a Christmas card for our military. Of course, everyone wanted to participated. Well I didn't have one piece of paper or sentiment for Christmas with me. But, I did have my Gypsy loaded with some Christmas cartridges. I came up with this and think it looks great.

This is my niece and thought she looks adorable. She loves to pose for the camera and she's only 5 years old. Anyway, even though I like this layout, I'm not in love with it.

Last but not least, more layouts of our Alaska cruise from May. We are still in Juneau.

Big Hugs to you all!

Anniversary Cards

Here are a couple of anniversary cards I made for my in-laws. My Mother and Father in-law and my Brother and Sister in-laws anniversaries are just a week apart, so I had to work quickly. I made their cards at a crop and did not jot down the details. Sorry about that. Big hugs to you all!

I know these aren't tradional looking Anniversary cards, but they are fun!
