Hello my friends, I have another card for you. This one is for my nephew who turned 10 on October 9th. It's usually so hard for me to figure out what to do for males no matter what their age is. I decided to make my nephew a card themed around Halloween. The card is 6x6 in size and I made the owl at 5.75, I realized I should have made the owl a little smaller, but it's good, he still loved it. Even though, my nephew is just 10, he really loves getting my homemade cards.
I also utilized my envelope punch to make the envelope. I used 3 action wobbles to give it a little jiggle.
I hope you like my project, I really enjoyed making it. Have a wonderful day and BIG HUGS to you all.

Stampin Up Stamp and Punch
Good morning my friends, I hope everyones weeks is go well, my time off is just starting. A couple of weeks ago I hosted my first scrapbooking gathering in my new craft room. One of the things that I really needed to do was get some cards made. I had just recently bought from my friend, who just became a Stampin Up consultant, the stamp set Four Frames and the decorative punch that goes with it. I decided to make 4 cards using the one set.
The top left for a good friend, the next one for my brother in-law, next for my best friend and the last one for my Mother In-Law.
I just recently bought the envelope punch and made the envelopes, I am really loving that punch board, it's so easy to use.
The cards with their special envelopes. I ended up not using the stamp set for the Love card, but did make the envelope.
I hope you like my projects, I really enjoyed making them.
Have a great day and BIG HUGS to you all.

Another Birthday Card
Another post for you. This is a birthday card that I made for a friend of mine. Again, I went old school and stamped the image and colored with Copic markers. I just thought this stamp was so cute and since I do like kitties I felt this was perfect to depict me and my friend.
I didn't have the ribbon I wanted for this card and ended up cutting a strip of paper instead. I also loved that I had these flowers and I've had them forever. I just love using things I've had for a while.
Everyone have a wonderful day and BIG HUGS to you all.

Just Because Card
Good evening my friends. I am hoping everyone is having a good week. I was off today and managed to get a few things accomplished.
In one of my recent posts I made a card for my boss who was relocated to Chicago. I decided to send her a card welcoming her to her new home. I decided to go back to basics and stamped an image for the card. I also heat embossed the image.
I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week and BIG HUGS to you all.

Project Life Album
Good evening my friends. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Back in April my son got married, it was an outdoor wedding. Even though we are in North Florida, South Georgia it usually isn't very cold, chilly, but not cold. Well it was one of the coldest days we had in a long time, along with it raining. Luckily, the rain stopped and everything went off without a hitch. The following weekend was just as nice and warm as it could be. Oh well it was a very memorable day.
I decided to use my small Project Life album to place their wedding pictures. Since they both had been married before they decided to have a small intimate wedding. Which worked perfectly for the smaller album.
Please pardon the flash reflection, I tried without the flash and was to dark and the many photos.
I used a rub on for the fairy tale beginning.
The theme of the wedding was based on Beauty and the Beast.
Because most of the photo slots are landscape I just rotated the portrait photos so I could use most of the them..
I hope you enjoyed my album. I really enjoyed putting it together. I have a 12x12 album that I am looking forward to using.
Have a good night everyone and BIG HUGS to you all.

Birthday Card
A very good friend of mine recently had a birthday. I made her this card, but just now am able to post it. I didn't want her to see it before her birthday. My girl friend really likes handbags, she has quite a few, so I decided this would be perfect for her.
I'm off work for the next few days and I am hoping to be able to get into my craft room and get more cards made and posted.
BIG HUGS to you all.

Going Away Card
A very dear friend of mine and my Boss is transferring to Chicago with our Company. We are sorry to see her leave, but know this is a good move for her. I made her card using Campin Critters and think it came out so cute. I included with her card a bag full of travel snacks for the long drive..
I also used an action wobble to animate the card. She really liked the card and I was very pleased how it came out. Don't you love when a project comes out better than you expected.
Good night and Big HUGS to you.
I can't remember which cartridge I used for the road and I used a Jolee embelishment for the Chicago and used a Peachy Keen face stamp on the car.
Good night and Big HUGS to you.

Another Project With Vinyl
Good evening my blogging friends. Today I did another project using vinyl. I bought this chalk board surface coffee cup and I had written on the cup with chalk but didn't like how it looked. I decided to do it in vinyl and I think it came out great! I used Cherry Limeade font at I think 1 inch. The phrase is actually 2 phrases and I just googled coffee phrases and found these that I liked. This is placed in my Scrapbook room right by my coffee maker. The next thing I need to get is coffee cups that will stay in that room.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and that you like my project. BIG HUGS to you all!

Home Decor
Good evening my friends. I'm getting better at making a post. It's only been 9 days since my last one, so much better than 2 months.
The other day I bought a oil and vinegar bottle set and since I don't use vinegar that much decided to use both bottles for the 2 types of oil I use. I decided to customize my bottles for my oils. One bottle is for olive oil and the other is for vegetable oil. Since the bottles weren't that big I decided not to use vegetable because it was to long. So I ended up just using oil, after all, I will know which type it is. So here are my new oil bottles that will be sitting next to my stove.
It's kinda hard to see the olive oil because the oil is darker, but I was very satisfied with how this project came.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and BIG HUGS to you all.

Thank You Card
Hello my blogging friends. I know it's been over a month since my last post. My scrapbook room is coming together and actually got to make a couple of thank you cards. There are these 2 gals that have been sending me cards not just for my birthday, but just because. I love to receive cards in the mail Anyway, since I managed to get some time today to create I decided to make them a thank you card in appreciation to always thinking of me. These ladies are wonderful friends and feel very blessed to have them in my life.
Over the weekend I bought me a chevron stamp and embossing plate. I didn't use the embossing the plate but did use the stamp. I pretty much made them the same card, just changed the colors slightly.
Anyway, enjoy and have a wonderful week. Until next time BIG HUGS to you all.

Home Decor Project
Hello my blogging friends. It feels so good to get back to my blog. I know it's been quite a while and there has been a lot going on. I am happy to say we are in our new house and have been in it for about 4 weeks. So much to do. Today I actually did a blog hop and it felt so good. There is so much talent out there. I have this little Mickey Mouse chalk board for my kitchen, and I thought it would look cute with a kitchen sentiment. So I found my Cricut, Gypsy and my vinyl and made it. Oh my goodness, I have missed my crafting. Here's how it came out:
Here it is without the sentiment.
With the sentiment. I was lucky because I had 2 cartridges with this phrase already in it so that saved me a lot of time. Tip for the day, when using vinyl use the transfer paper. It was quite a challenge getting this on without sticking all over my hands.
I am also in the process of putting my scrapbook room together and wanted to share a couple pictures of the mess. My sister, who is wonderful at organizing will be coming over to help me put it together. In the meantime, I'm just doing what I can. I will say, though, my work station is pretty much done. At least, I can sit at my happy place and feel I can craft now, if I want to. Before, there was just no way. I still can't find everything, but that's okay. It will all come together.
My work station is in front of the window on the left, right by the tv. I also have a guest work station on the other side of the cabinet. The desk closest is my computer desk. How do you like my pink tool box??? It is going to hold my ink and stamps, I have already put the ink, glitter and embossing powders in it. I want to sort my stamps before storing them in their new home.
It's still a bit of a mess, but one day at a time. I am just so very blessed and happy to be in my new home that I love.
Have a good day and BIG HUGS to you all.

WOW!
Hello my blogging friends, I hope everyone is doing well this evening. I cannot believe it's been almost a month since my last post. My house is coming along and it is just about finished. I have packed up my scrapbook room, but managed to go to a crop last weekend. I have been working out of my crop bags, luckily I keep them well stocked. One of the things I managed to get done was an Altered Notebook for the Play Along page on Facebook. I love how my notebook came out. I think I am going to keep it for myself to plan out my projects.
I was also able to finish my scrapbook for the Alaska cruise my husband and I went on almost 2 years ago. I am so glad to be done with that. I can mark that off of my list of things to do.
I hope you like seeing my project and ENJOY and BIG hugs to you all.

Calendar Challenge
Hello blogging friends. So sorry I haven't been around, but our home is almost completed and we'll be moving in soon. So looking forward to it. I've pretty much packed up my scrapbook room, but did have a calendar that I made following the Play Along site on Facebook. The challenge was to create a calendar page for the current month and run the challenge throughout the year for each month. I decided since I've got so many things going on right now, I would just make a decorative background and just print out each month and change it as time goes by. I put velcro tabs on the back of the calendar so I can reuse the background.
Those who know me, know that I love Disney, so I created this to use in my new scrapbook room. Enjoy and BIG hugs to you all.

Ooh La La Card
I wanted to share this card that I made for my fellow Chic. I had to wait to post because I didn't want her to see it before she got it in the mail. I decided to use one of my stamp sets and took a break from the Cricut. I had such a good time making this card and going back to stamping, I may have to break out the stamps more often.
This is a Stampin Up set, I just can't remember the name of it. I ended up coloring the image with different type of markers since I had already packed away my Copic markers. I also did a little inking around the image.
Have a great Friday and BIG hugs to you all.

Mustache Card
Happy Sunday to you all. I hope everyone had a good day. I have been kinda lazy and just doing what is necessary. I have managed to get into my craft room and make a card. I found this site on Facebook called Play Along where you do projects. Pretty much at your own pace, there are lots of challenges to choose from, it's a lot of fun. I would recommend if you are crafty, check it out.
The challenge I chose was to make something by incorporating a mustache. Since my sons' birthday is coming up I decided to make a card for him. Hope you like my project.
I created the bowling ball, got the mustache from the Billionaire cricut cartridge and got the bowling pin from Nifty Fifties cricut cartridge. I also used a Peachy Keen stamp to give my pin an emotion. I also used an embossing folder, can't remember if it's Cuttlebug or Sizzix.
Enjoy the rest of your day and BIG hugs to you all.

Valentine Cards
I know I am a little late getting this out, but wanted to share anyways. I've been working quite a bit lately and have finally found an opportunity to post these.
These cards I saw on another blog, Everyday Cricut, last year. I think I actually did the same thing last year except I used Mickey Mouse on them. This year, I used Create A Critter and I just love the little 3x3 size. Since I used googley eyes on the elephants I decided to give those to my co-workers. The other cards I kept flat to save on postage.
I also wanted to share with you the beautiful cards I received from a couple of good friends. This one is from my friend Dana.
And this one came from one of my oldest and dearest friends, Christa. Thanks Dana and Christa, you made my day
I hope you enjoyed seeing my Valentines and want to wish everyone a wonderful week. Big HUGS to you all.

Going Away Cards
I have a couple of cards that I want to share with you that I made for a co-worker who is moving to Texas. I used the Teddy Bear Parade on the card I made for everyone to sign. The card I made from me I used the stamp set Groovy from Stampin Up. I really like how these came out and thought the Teddy Bear was adorable with his Texas flag.
This card I was able to use paper from my scraps, I just love being able to get into that bin.
I was also able to use scraps on this card too except for the background paper.
Enjoy and BIG hugs to you all. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

One More Post For Today
Hi everyone again. I just wanted to share with you why I haven't been posting lately. First of all, been working quite a big and of course the holidays take up quite a bit of our time. But, the biggest reason is the home my husband and I are building. It seems every time we are off we are choosing flooring, paint, appliances etc. So I thought I would share with you where we are at with the construction:
The roofers came out today to finish trimming the roof and dry wallers should be out Monday to start putting up the walls. Anyway, we are very excited about the prospect of moving in. Our builder says the end of February or the beginning of March. :-)
Enjoy and BIG HUGS to you all. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

More Projects
Sorry everyone for taking so long to get back showing the rest of the projects I completed during the holidays. I've had some technical difficulties, but hopefully they are resolved. So here they are:
This card was for a friend of mine whose birthday was in September
My nieces' birthday is at the end of October, not Halloween, but thought she would like this cute this ghost wishing her Happy Birthday. And she did.
My sisters birthday was in November and she is a big fan of Goofy, so of course I had to make this one for her.
Birthday card for my Boss who just moved to Florida, so I felt it was only fitting to use this cute flamingo.
Last, but certainly not least, I made these for Thanksgiving. I saw this at Simply Pam blog and loved it so much I decided to make them too. They were so easy to make, check out what other neat things she creates. http://www.simplypamscreations.com/2012/11/cookie-card-challenge-thanksgiving.html
