Card Class I Attended

Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying your Saturday evening. I am now that I'm off work. I'm actually sitting here on the couch with my feet up.  It feels so good after being on my feet all day.  Anyway, onto my post.  Last night I attended a card class, it was really nice. I met lots of new ladies and learned some new things.  I wanted to share the cards we made, they came out terrific!  Thank you to my friend Debbie Cain for inviting me.

Both of these would make great cards for men

I love Z-fold cards

Not really sure if you can see it, but we did heat embossing on this one

Easter Card

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I did, I just ran around from one place to the other.  I had lunch with my in-laws, then went to visit my parents and give my nephew his Easter present. I then went to visit my sister to give my other nephew and my niece their Easter presents.  I just felt I was in my car more than visiting.  Anyway, here is the Easter card I made for my niece and nephews. I kept it pretty simple since this was for the kids.  But I think it came out really cute.

Paris Birthday Layout

Well yesterday was our very first Callahan Country Bugs Cricut swarm and felt it was a huge success. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and hopefully learned something new about their amazing machines, the Cricut and the Gypsy.  I know I just love both of my girls, and I don't use one without using the other. I posted some pictures of our Swarm on the Cricut Swarm tab if you would like to take a look.

This is a birthday layout that I made at the crop for a contest I have entered.

Yahoo Group Challenge #2

So the challenge I placed upon my fellow bugs was to create a project using monochromatic colors. They could select the colors they wanted. While I was working on my project,I found that I had to add a couple other colors, but still my project was mostly monochromatic.  I then amended the challenge to allow other colors, but still had to mostly be monochromatic.   As you look at my project you will see why I couldn't go completely 100%, but I did my best.  And besides aren't these challenges suppose to challenge us???? I could have done something else, but so wanted to complete this one.  Enjoy! If anyone would like to join our Yahoo Group please click on the Yahoo button to the right. Would love to have you.

My First Cricut Swarm Project

I've finally got time off from work and got my house cleaned and FINALLY got to go into my craft room. One of the things I needed to get done was my very first Cricut Swarm project.  I got the idea from My Pink Stamper and really like the way it came out.  When I polled what my fellow bugs wanted, it was a toss between scrapbook page layout and a card. So what I did was both, but using the same idea.

Cricut Cuts

Hi everyone! Today was a good day, first of all, didn't have to work. Second, I went to visit my nephew, his birthday was yesterday, but I was working. So I went to see him today to celebrate. I got his gift last night and was going to use a gift bag from my stash.  However, after looking, I didn't have anything for a boy so I decided to decorate one of my standard brown bags.  Then I got to thinking how to decorate and started looking through my extra cricut cuts.  Well guess what???? I had extra dinosaur cuts. When I first cut them, they weren't the right size so I tossed them into my cricut cuts scraps.  They worked perfectly because his card was a dinosaur. So my advice to you don't throw away cuts you dont' use right away.  You never know when you might use them.

Here is the bag I made for my nephew, even the comment bubble was a scrap.
